Katherine is a constant maker, always seeking out new and unconventional art supplies to incorporate into her work. Her love and curiosity for the environment also plays a significant role in her art, as she incorporates elements of sustainability and repurposing into her pieces. Through her work, Katherine hopes to inspire others to see the potential in everyday objects and to appreciate the beauty in the world around us; as well as the beauty in simple everyday moments.
After graduating from Drake University with an Individualized Major in Environmental Art & Science, she moved to Florida where she lives with her family in Vero Beach. By land and by sea, Katherine explores the magic of the mundane and the inspiration of the big moments.
