It all begins with an idea. And a pile of materials that were just too good to pass up to the trash bin or recycle. Katherine grew up crafting - beads, pulling apart typewriters and building towns, painting, drawing, relief rubbing, sewing leaves together. As she’s grown into a new phase of studio practice those early explorations aren’t stuck in youth - because everyone can be young at heart and continue to elevate even simple found materials.
